20th Annual
Welcome to the Peone Last Name Braggin Rights 2010 Tournament.
There have been some
requests that we VARY SLIGHTLY from the Rule of having the Last name of
the Team in which you are playing for. At this time, we are announcing
that we will not vary slightly from this rule. All teams will be
treated fairly and will have to comply with the RULES below in order to
play in this tournament. Our goal is to host a family oriented, drug
and alcohol free event, fun that demonstrates fair equal treatment to
every team.
TEAM MEMBER RULES:
1. In order to play each player MUST check-in and show ID that has
their picture and name that matches the team with the same last name,
in which they are playing for, there will be no exceptions. Please do
not ask, the answer will be no. Every other team will play by this same
rule.
2. The only acceptable ID will be some form that has a picture and name combined.
3. There is a maximum of 12 players per team, no exceptions. (Please
send your Roster in w/the names of the players who will be on the team
with your entry fee.)
GAME TIME RULES:
1. HS rules: 5 personal fouls, 7 team fouls= 1 and 1. 10 team fouls = double bonus
2. 22 minute running clock/ except last 2 min of each half. Halftime is 3:00 minutes.
3. 2 Timeouts per half (one full and one 30 sec) full timeout =1min.
Clock runs during Timeouts except in the last 2 minutes. Time Out's do
not carryover.
4. $25.00 per technical to be given to scorekeeper before re-entering tournament.
5. In the event of Overtime Game(s) it will be a 3:00 minute time period. Each team gets 1 full timeout.
6. Female contestants receive adjusted scoring; 3 points for a 2 point, and 4 points for a 3 point throw.
